- Where is DNS hosted, and who can change it?
- How large are the files and databases?
- Is email hosted with the current provider or somewhere else?
- Which plugins, cron jobs, queues, or background tasks matter?
- What is the lowest-risk cutover window?
Why timing varies
A small brochure site can move quickly. A store, busy database, custom app, or mailbox-heavy account needs more planning. We would rather give a realistic estimate than promise a timeline that ignores the work.
